Jerry "Cobra" Cowan grew up in Colton, CA., where at age 15 he bought his first street bike. After high school he went to play in Une Sam's Army and was stationed in Germany and Vietnam. For the last 30 years, he has been employed by T.M. Cobb Co. a wholesale door company. He is the company's truck driver supervisor.

For the last 29 years he has been married to Lois, "Sew n' Sew", and they have two daughters, Brenda and Cheryl. Jerry even came back to Colton where he and Lois build their home.

Jerry bought his first Goldwing (a 1987 Aspencade) in 1998 and joined GWRRA the same year.

He bought a new 1999 SE in September of 1999 and now has over 100,000 miles.

He is currently chapter Educator for CA1-M
