Riding with the Gold Angels can be very fun and rewarding. Most riders start out by joining us at a practice. This will give our team the opportunity to meet you while you get the chance to see how the practices are structured.

When riding with the team, you will be constantly honing your precision riding skills and challenging yourself at every practice. We're always adding new maneuvers, or changing around some old ones, so there's always something new to work on.

As we feel you are ready, you will gradually be placed in various maneuvers in preparation for our next performance.

Practices

When there are upcoming performances, we practice every Sunday. During the slower times of the year, we will have them every other Sunday.

Casina Pauma, about 15 miles east of HWY 15 off of HWY 76, is our home field. The team meets either at 9am or 1pm and practice generally runs about 4 hours.

Prerequisites

Here are a list of prerequisites for joining the team:

• You must be a current member of the GWRRA.
• You must have a full faring touring bike to practice and perform with.
• Your motorcycle must be insured and in good working order.
• You must be able to listen in on a CB radio while on your bike.
• You must be able to make the majority of practices. We practice on Sunday morning or afternoons.
