Robert was born and raised in Southern California. He’s had a love and interest in motorcycle since he was young. He started riding at age 15 and bought his first motorcycle at the age of 16. As a youth, many years were spent doing both street and dirt riding. He bought his first Goldwing in 1985 in the Midwest and fell in love with it. Shortly after, he and his wife started touring most of the Midwest with it. After putting 99,000 miles on it, he bought his current Goldwing in January of 2002. Both he and his wife enjoy traveling on the new wing. Robert is retired from the Naval reserves. He is currently working for EDS in as an applications developer. Robert believes very strongly in motorcycle safety and rider education. He is a Level IV Master Tour Rider with GWRRA. Robert and Janet have two children that are grown up, a daughter-in-law and a two very lovely Granddaughters.

Robert and his wife are very active with their local GWRRA Chapter (Chapter CA-1F) as the 2006 Chapter Couple and Newsletter Editor.
